Blooming great event will raise funds for flood hit community

A fundraising garden party will be held in aid of restoration, recovery and renewal projects in Whalley.

Organised by Whalley in Bloom committee members following the Boxing Day floods, the event will be held on July 30th at 1-30 to 5 pm.

Attractions include plants for sale, bottle stall, flower quiz, home-made cakes, raffle and tombola, second-hand books, badge making, bug hunts and much more.

Admission is £3 each, children go free. Advance tickets can be bought from Whalley Wine Shop, Precious & Fusspots and the Whalley in Bloom Committee.
