"We were all crying with joy and emotion. After the dance Justin asked Tegan her name and introduced her to the audience and asked everyone to cheer for her.

"She high fived him and it was just an incredible moment."

Tegan was one of four young dancers chosen to join the mega star on stage after he dance teacher, Lorna Jackson-Digger, sent a video of her dancing into a competition held to find the UK's best young dancers.

At least 200,000 young hopefuls sent in audition tapes but only four were chosen for each venue.

And along with the delight and honour of dancing with a mega star, Tegan was representing her hometown and the UK as the three other dancers at the Glasgow show were all from Scotland.

Gareth added: "Tegan and the other dancers waited in a special area at the front of the audience during the show and they were called on stage just after the start of the second half.

"She had been rehearsing the dance routine and was surprisingly calm before she went up.

"After the show Tegan could not stop smiling and as we left the venue people were pointing and smiling at her as they recognised her. We were all just buzzing with the emotion of it all."
