An unforgettable weekend of live music had the whole town singing the blues.
Countless acts across a variety of venues throughout Burnley ensured the 25th annual Rock and Blues Festival was one of the best yet.
The Burnley Mechanics main stage was awash with musical talent, The Mike Sanchez Band, Southside Johnny and The Asbury Jukes, Hokie Joint, Lucy Zirins, Wishbone Ash and The Zombies all putting on memorable performances.
The open air concert in Charter Walk was also a huge success with Vienna Waiting, Megan J. Ingham, Sean Ruane, Y.O.U. 62 and the Clarets Dance Team among those entertaining the crowds in glorious sunshine.
Mr Mark Crabtree, managing director of AMS Neve, one of the event’s main sponsors, said: “It’s fantastic for the town. It’s great to see so many people coming together to help put on an event like this and it’s great to see so many talented artists in Burnley at one time.”
