Music lovers set for charity concert

A special concert will see The Lancashire Artillery Volunteers Band perform in Padiham next month.

"The Last Night of the Padiham Proms" concert will take place at Padiham Unitarian Church on Saturday, May 12th, at 7-30pm.

The band, through its Bolton connection, can trace its ancestry back to 1861 when a band was formed for the Bolton and Great Lever Artillery Corps.

This is the last concert of the 14th season with proceeds going to North West Air Ambulance, the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund and the church.

Admission is £8 including refreshments.
