The Force was with Dawson when he met his all time heroes

Starstruck youngster Dawson Crawford was at the front of the queue when it came to meeting his heroes.

The four-year-old from Burnley met Britain's Got Talent finalists Boogie Storm during the Christmas lights switch on in Blackburn.

A pupil at Brunshaw Primary School he was shopping with his aunt, Kourtney Naughton and was one of the first in the queue to meet the group.

Courtney said: “Dawson absolutely loves Boogie Storm and as soon as we found out they would be here I knew I had to bring him.

"It was well worth the trip as we have had a fantastic time!”

The meet and greets were organised as part of the celebrations, which also saw Blackburn’s home-grown star The Songaminute Man, aka Ted McDermott, steal the show with his now famous rendition of Quando Quando Quando before Jack P Shepherd from Coronation Street flicked the switch on the Christmas lights.
