Viewers tuning into the Channel Four show at 8pm can expect fun and games and a surprise twist at the end, according to one contestant, well known TV and radio presenter Sally Jacks who lives in Ightenhill and will be auctioning her self and her meal on Ebay.

She said: “I can’t say what is going to happen but I hope that people tune in to see something unique that has never been done before in the UK.

“It will happen right at the end of the programme and is something that people can get involved in for a very good cause, that’s all I will say.’’

The other contestants are DJ Kev Riley of Foxglove Close and Mark Dempsey who is the Hospitality and Business Manager at Burnley Mechanics Theatre. Kev (32) admitted that before taking part in the show he had never even switched an oven on!

He said: “I was given step by step instructions from a friend and I tried out the meal at least five times before the show. I can’t reveal the full menu but the main course is Disco Chicken!’’

Mark, of Brierfield is a keen cook and said: “The three of us knew each other and the producers loved that. I think they were hoping we would all fall out but we had a fantastic time, it certainly wasn’t boring.’’
