A notice has been put on the Hammerton Street bar’s doors saying the premises have been repossessed following the forfeiture of the lease by peaceable re-entry by the landlord.
The former Isa Bar venue was a popular night-time spot in the town, attracting hundreds of revellers every weekend.
Barcode and Walkabout’s closures come after leading nightclub Lava & Ignite shut down in February, last year.
