A talented Burnley designer is ready to take London Fashion Week by storm.

Carrie-Ann Kay will showcase her latest catwalk collection at the world famous fashion event later this month.

The up-and-coming designer was invited by bosses to show her stunning “emerging trends” creations in the Best of British category.

It will be a catwalk debut for her eye-catching work at London Fashion Week which attracts many of the world’s best-know fashion designers.

Carrie-Ann, who runs her own fashion label Rene K, described it as a “chance of a lifetime” to show the fashion world what she is capable of.

She said: “I am completely overwhelmed and very emotional and I have waited for this all my life.

“I never thought I would be able to show at London Fashion Week – I have always thought it was out of my grasp but to be chosen from a handful of designers is such an honour and shows my hard work has finally paid off.”

The Best of British show will see Carrie-Ann’s collection seen by some key figures in the fashion industry.

She hopes to make a big impact in London with her designs whoich could prove to be a springboard to fashion success.

“I will be showing my collection to an audience of fashion magazine editors, buyers, celebrities and influential industry people.

“It is the perfect opportunity to showcase what my clothing label is all about and finally have a platform to show what Burnley has to offer – the Best of British.

Now she faces a frantic few days designing and preparing her collection for the catwalk on September 13th.
