'Strictly the Best' set to air this summer will feature some of the iconic highlights from the show's annual trip to the seaside and the world famous Tower Ballroom but producers are now inviting loyal audiences to pull on their dancing shoes to share in the most unforgettable moments in the Tower's Strictly history.

Hide AdCan you rock the world like Kelvin and Oti’s Jailhouse Jive, Samba to La Bamba like Charles and Karen, put on an explosive Paso Doble like Susanna and Kevin?
Or maybe channel your inner Spice Girl complete with dress like Debbie and Giovanni or take on a white knuckle ride like Joe and Katya’s ‘Ride on Time’ Salsa.
Open to all the family including the household pets,, producers are asking viewers to place themselves under the glitter ball for a unique spin on any of the famous routines, transforming their homes or gardens into the historic ballroom to take part in a piece TV history.

Hide AdA BBC spokesperson for the show said: "Bring the sights of Blackpool that we all love and know, to the comfort of your own home.
"Whether it’s the lights of Blackpool’s infamous promenade, or the iconic Blackpool beach, we want you to turn your garden, bedrooms, living room or any other room in your house into Blackpool and have your very own Blackpool party.
"Remember everything is permitted we want to see what Blackpool means to you."

Hide AdWannabe creatives are also being asked to put their talents to use in crafting their own Strictly masterpiece from paintings to sculptures and props and send them in.
The spokesperson added: "Can you paint a masterpiece that’s Oti Mabuse or create a pasta picture of Giovanni or even build your own Anton Du Beke from empty boxes. Whatever takes your fancy, we want to see it. So take a photo or a video of your creation and send it in."
The Blackpool summer show will be one of three highlight specials including Movies and Musicals week, filmed by the Strictly family including presenters Tess Daly, Claudia Winkelman, the judges, and the professional dancers to reminisce about the magical and mad moments from the archives.

Hide AdThe best of the submitted videos and creations will be aired during the show. A deadline of submissions has been set for Tuesday May 26.
Producers ask that all those enterinfg adhere to Covid 19 regulations - observing all the current Government advice on social distancing, confirming people in the videos are members of the same household.
