‘This is Manchester’ was hosted at Penny Black bar as part of the platinum jubilee celebrations. Organiser and Burnley bar owner Madge Nawaz had originally planned to hold the event in Queens Park but had to switch venues at the 11th hour.
These amazing images of James tribute band Laid, performing for the crowds, were taken by filmmaker Kev Furber who also captured the event on film.
