Cliviger Sounds, featuring some of the top names in jazz, blues and folk, will now go ahead on June 4th, 5th and 6th, 2021.

A 300-capacity marquee had been arranged to be set up on the Kettledrum Inn estate, Red Lees Road, with parking arranged for each concert and a full PA system staging and lighting ready for each day.

However, the festival was cancelled due to coronavirus.

Organisers Lionel Snowden and Stephen Reid said that all the performers, including The Swing Commanders, Mark Radcliffe and Zoot Money's Big Roll Band, have agreed to come next year to guarantee the festival launch can still happen.

Stephen said: ‘Regarding all the people who had already purchased tickets before the lockdown in March, we can refund these or you can keep hold of the tickets for the same weekend next year, these will be replaced when the new tickets are launched in January 2021."
