Annual Ribble Valley MOD weekender comes to town

THE Ribble Valley Mod Weekender and scooter rally has rolled into town.

The coolest scooter and music event in the region kicked off yesterday (Friday).

There are more than 500 scooter riders expected to join the "ride in" to Clitheroe town centre. Over 1,000 people will celebrate the weekend with live music and events all over town. Attractions throughout the weekend include trade stalls, trophies for best scooters, local artisan food, real ale and lots of happy friendly people.

Meanwhile, there will be plenty of music to keep crowds in the swing of things with headline acts for tonight's main stage including Scaface, The Len Prices 3 and Dogtooth. In addition,there will be live music and DJs playing at the Rose and Crown Hotel, the Buck Inn, Key Street, The Castle Inn, Clitheroe Social Club plus many more.
