Burnley Tornados’ senior side recently played their inaugural game against Leeds Bobcats at Holt House in Colne.

At half-time the Tornados were down 36-0, but quarterback Phil Robins was able to get the ball to Xavier Sutcliffe for the team’s first-ever score. The conversion was also good.

Robins then hooked up with Matty Brammer for a score to make it 36-16.

Both teams then traded points and at the final whistle the score was 44-22.
