Early pressure from the home side forced a knock on and from the resulting scrum the table-toppers worked an overlap to score out wide.
Again, Littleborough were out of the blocks quickly and soon raced in to a 16-0 lead.

And a second try was not long in coming. A powerful charge in the red zone from Lawless, who continued to impress on his first start, was backed up by Alex Woodcock who crashed over to cut the lead to 16-8.
But the Lions started slowly after the break and were caught out in the opening 10 minutes as the hosts extended their advantage to 26-8.
Ryan Bradley hit back on his return to the side to add to the away side’s total, but further scores by Woodcock and Lawless were to no avail as the hosts handled the pressure to hang on to their 12 point lead.
