Ribblesdale High School pupils meet up after 50 years

Classmates who were pupils of Ribblesdale High School 50 years ago met up for a reunion evening at The Emporium in Clitheroe and were joined by friends who made the journey all the way from Australia to attend.

Hillary Williams and Judith Knight travelled from Canberra and Melbourne respectively with members of their families and were welcomed by classmates and three ex-teachers for an evening of reminiscing.

The friends are planning to make the event more regular, with another reunion set for next year and it is hoped that the Australian guests will be back for another visit and to catch up with other friends they missed in five years time.
