LETTER: Appeal to help find members of Emmett family

I WONDER if it is possible to trace a relative via your readers.

I am attempting to trace any relatives of Leonard Emmett, who lived in the Nelson area between 1887 and 1959.

I am Sandra Skidmore and my father was also called Leonard Emmett. It is his father I am trying to trace via any surviving relatives living locally.

Leonard Emmett Snr had a son called James and used to bring his father to visit us in Morecambe. I have many fond memories of his visits and my dearest wish would be to have a photo of my grandfather. I have traced his grave to a Nelson churchyard and his last known address was 58 Buccleugh Road.
