‘Dickinson’s Real Deal’ TV antiques show comes to Colne

Do you have any heirlooms buried in your attic that you think could be worth a few bob?

If so, flamboyant antiques expert David Dickinson wants to see you. The popular daytime ITV show “Dickinson’s Real Deal” is coming to Colne in search of your “bobby dazzlers”.

Film crews will be at Pendle Leisure Centre on Saturday waiting for you to turn up with any unwanted antiques - and leave at the end of the day with cash in your pocket.

The idea behind the programme is to get as much money as you can for your collectables. You can either accept the money being offered from the dealer, or take your chance in the auction room.

Just take along your prized possessions between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. and see how much you can get for them. Admission is free.

As usual, David will be keeping an eye on the deals and giving advice if needed - should you take the dealers’ cash or gamble at auction? Ultimately it’s up to you to decide which option is the Real Deal.

So, do you have something that could turn out to be as “cheap as chips” or “a bit of a duffer”, or are you in possession of “a real bobby dazzler”? Footage from the event will be broadcast at a later date.
