Open Day at Burnley Tennis Club

Burnley Tennis club are holding a community open day tomorrow from 1-4 p.m.

This is a great opportunity for anyone wishing to try their hand at tennis, or simply go along and see what tennis at Burnley is all about.

Adults and juniors are welcome for all or part of the day.

There is no need to book, and there will be the opportunity for people to take part in a friendly American Tournament or just have a hit.

Anyone who wants to join the club will have the opportunity to play 52 weeks a year on six all-weather courts, three of which have floodlights, as well as free British Tennis membership - putting your name into the Wimbledon ticket ballot for the Championships.

There is regular weekly social and competitive tennis, and the opportunity for individual and group coaching from beginner level upwards, as well as regular club social events.

The club are offering some of the cheapest membership rates around, with junior Under 16 membership £20 for the full year, while student memberships are £45per year.

The tennis club is situated just off Belvedere Road, next to Burnley fire station.

Equipment will be provided if you don’t have any - all you need are trainers and some enthusiasm!
