Laura’s hard work pays off with black belt award

Burnley’s Laura Nuttall was put through her paces at the 100th British Taekwondo Black Belt Promotion Test in Mansfied last week.

Laura, aged 14, started training in Taekwondo with Jakeun Bal Taekwondo at Crow Wood Leisure Centre in Burnley at the age of six.

Laura’s hard work and commitment paid off when a panel of five Taekwondo masters awarded her the prestigious black belt.

Instructor Debra Calderbank said: “I am so proud of Laura.

“She is a credit to the martial art. Laura has worked so hard for this and it is a huge achievement.”
