Great results for Burnley Bobcats

Burnley Bobcats’ squad was split between galas at Macclesfield and Manchester with great results.

The Satellites of Macclesfield Open Level 3 gala saw Anna Ashworth (11) and siblings Anna Brown (12) and Thomas Brown (16) come away with personal bests in all their events, with Anna Ashworth winning bronze medals in the 200m backstroke, and 200m and 50m breaststroke.

At the Manchester Open Level 1 gala, Katie Rennolds (16) won the 100m and 200m freestyle, silver in the 100m butterfly and bronze in the 50m freestyle and 200m butterfly.

William Beaven (16) won the 100m and 200m freestyle, and Harry Pilkington (14) took away two silver medals in the 50m and 100m freestyle; Elliot Norman (14), who swam a host of personal best times, won bronze in the 50m and 200m breaststroke, while Mia Sheridan (11) won silver in the 50m breaststroke and bronze in the 100m breaststroke, and Lily Duckworth (12) won bronze in the 50m freestyle.
