Following the success of last year’s Burnley Cricket Club Golf Day, they are holding another on Friday, August 14th.

Money raised from last year’s event contributed to the recent developments at the club, including the complete refurbishment of the newly-opened James Anderson Suite.

All money raised goes straight into the club and this year’s fundraising effort is to refurbish and rebuild the junior and senior dressing dooms.

The club have teamed up with Burnley Golf Club to host the golf day, with approximately 90 players taking part.

Already there is great interest in the event and there are a variety of players confirmed to play, from professional sportsmen to a variety of business owners.

The day will involve a bacon sandwich and a cup of tea on arrival, 18 holes of golf, a hot buffet/two-course meal after play, food and drink at our halfway house, and entry into the hole-in-one competition on all par threes which include prizes of a £750 golf voucher, £1,000 holiday voucher, £1,500 Omega watch and a seven-day trip to the 2016 US Masters.

There will be a full presentation for the top three teams, longest drive and closet to the pin, a raffle and an auction.

Hole sponsorship involves your company’s name printed onto a banner located on the tee bed, advertisement on the golf day score cards, and the price to sponsor a hole is £100.
