Burnley’s Simon Edmondson enjoyed a clean sweep in round three of the East Midland Racing Association Club Championship.
Edmondson both both races at Mallory Park after qualifying in third on his NMPC Suzuki 650 behind Gary Arden and Paul Westerdale.
In race one, as Arden nearly flipped his SV650, Edmondson passede Westerdale and lead the entire field, managing to pull away.
The red flag came out after six laps, but the result stood.
Starting race two in pole position, Edmondson found himself down in third, but recovered to second behind Westerdale, looking to keep Arden at bay.
A super-smooth fast last lap saw him take the flag again for a second win of the day, putting Edmondson into the lead in the Championship ahead of round four on July 5th.
