Burnley Tennis Club held their annual Open Day at Lower Ridge Close, Burnley.

The event saw free mini tennis coaching with new head coach David Woolstencroft for children, and adults were also given the opportunity to play.

Over 100 people attended, along with Bank Hall councillors Gary Frayling and John Fifield, and Elaine Varcoe, Burnley Tennis Club chair said: “Our Open Day was a great success. Our aim is to bring tennis to the community.”

Following on from the open day, Burnley Tennis Club and Tennisaces Academy launched Super Saturdays, sponsored by Lancashire Sport Partnership, for children aged five to 16, costing £1 for two hours of tennis activity, and for more information, contact info@burnleytennisclub.co.uk or visit www.burnleytennisclub.co.uk
