The Burnley 1st XV squad took part in the practical session and weere coached in cutting edge technical methods to the contact area as used at international and Premiership levels of the game.
Mark Nelson, the Development Centre manager said: “This is fantastic stuff. We are exposing our club coaches and therefore our club players to these innovative and highly effective modern methods of coaching and managing technical and tactical issues within the game.
“Pete gave a great insight into how players should react and adapt to the contact area and the coaches and Burnley players took away a massive amount of information and knowledge from the session.
“I would also congratulate Burnley on hosting the event. They are a very well organised club delivering rugby in a soccer mad area.”
