Mickey Feeney, 22, was the latest victor.

Fighting in Radcliffe on an England v Holland show, he took the show and crowd by storm, showing great strength and technique, with his lack of ring experience not an issue.

In his first C class fight, Feeney stopped his opponent in the third round with knees, having dominated his opponent for the first two rounds.

Leroy Decruz, aged 12, also had the fantastic opportunity to fight on the show, and against a more experienced opponent, went the full five rounds but unfortunately lost on points.

Mickey, Leroy and two other fighters from Hakuda Gym, Alexis Walker (25) and Brodey Foley (8) are now in training as they have been invited to compete in Latvia on April 26th as part of the British K-1 team.

Although Hakuda Gym don’t traditionally train and fight the style of K-1, gym owner Dave Burley said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for the gym and fighters.

“It shows the versatility of our training and fighters.

“Fighting internationally, and the trip to Latvia, will be a great experience for Mickey, Leroy, Alexis and Brodey.”
