Michael’s darts win
The open darts tournament at Colne Legion earlier this month was won by St Helens’ Michael Smith.
Smith beat Burnley’s Mick Taylor in the final, after seeing off fellow St Helens darter Eddie Dootson. Colne’s Mick Whittaker was the other losing semi-finalist, and the last four are pictured.
The ladies competition was won by Clare Muldoon of Keighley, who beat Nelson’s Cath Jackson 4-1.
Raffles and an auction were held during the day, and £258 was raised on behalf of Help for Heroes.
