Medals galore at Lancashire championships for local club

Kano Bushi Ryu, Nelson and Colne, who took huge medal haul at the Lancashire Judo championships in Wigan

Big congratulations to Kano Bushi Ryu, Nelson and Colne for their medal tally from the Lancashire Judo championships in Wigan recently,

Gold medals went to Casey Richardson, George Walker, Shyann Masih, Kyle Masih, Shawn Collinson, Geraldine Collinson, Stewart Holmes and Scott Ruddy.

There were silver medals for Alisha Masih, Erica Holmes, Ruth Richardson, Ady Lamb, Louis Lockett and Reece Masih, and bronze medals won by Bradley Ralph, Christian Variyam, Peter Walker and Kameron Masih.

A great job was done by the Black belt team for training the children, as well as competing themselves in the adult category and winning medals.

Next up is the British Championships in Birmingham.

The KBR Jujitsu has classes at The Zone Nelson on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and at Nelson and Colne College and Colne Snooker Club.
