Lancashire title up for grabs for Shuttleworth

The girls won the Burnley competition and qualified for the regional round at Blackpool Sports Centre, where, led by captain Liberty Heap and vice captain Millie Cain, they beat Broughton and Pendle Vale.

Against Broughton, Liberty took three wickets and Elliose Spencer retired on 25, while against Pendle Vale, both Liberty and Millie retired on 25 and Lancashire player Liberty again took three wickets.

The county finals are at Bolton Arena later this month and Shuttleworth will be up against eight teams.
