“Our aim is to bring this amazing sport to children who have never picked up a golf club before in a bid to unearth some new talent. We believe we have done this.

“This is the first year our Juniors have taken part in the Skills Challenge and they have done brilliantly. We hope to see more names joining Alfie on the leaderboard after round 2.”

Golf Rossendale Driving Range & Academy is based at Marl Pits Sports Complex in Rawtenstall and is open to beginners and experienced golfers alike.

Lessons are available for adults as well as juniors and there is full disabled access.
