Gold Rossendale PGA pro scoops top title
Golf Rossendale Driving Range & Academy is celebrating after its resident PGA Pro scooped top honours in the East Lancashire Alliance Order of Merit.
Mike Bardi (37) is head coach at the driving range which opened last year.
He beat off professional golfers from across East Lancashire to retain his title from last year.
Mike, who lives in Rawtenstall, turned Professional in 2004 and is a qualified PGA Level 3 coach.
At Golf Rossendale he teaches golfers of all ages and abilities and leads the driving range’s popular Junior Academy programme.
Golf Rossendale’s managing director Scott Grundy said: “We very proud of Mike and his achievements.
“He is a fantastic golf coach and winning this competition proves that he can practise what he preaches.
“He won the Order of Merit comfortably and is a great ambassador for Golf Rossendale.”
