Young Clarets set to face Man City
Burnley face Manchester City tomorrow night in the semi-final of the inaugural Under 21 Premier League Cup, kick-off 7 p.m., with the venue switched from Hyde’s Ewen Fields to Leigh Sports Village.
And should Andy Farrell’s young Clarets advance past City, they will face Reading in the final, after the Royals beat Arsenal 3-1 in extra- time.
Burnley have advanced to the last four after wins over Wigan Athletic on penalties, Crewe Alexandra, Sunderland, Bolton Wanderers and Exeter City.
