“I know a few of the lads at Accrington and I’m looking forward to the challenge of being involved there and helping them for the rest of the season.”

Phillips joined the Clarets in August, 2019 after a spell with Norwich City, and impressed in the Under 23s in his first season at Turf Moor.

The England youth international has since made a big impact at Morecambe.
