The team that started their emphatic victory at Sheffield Wednesday is set to be altered only slightly, with a 3-5-2 system to be deployed.

Marco Cassetti is poised to replace Joel Ekstrand in a three-man defence, alongside Lloyd Doyley and Gabriele Angella, at the same time as Ikechi Anya and Daniel Pudil will look to stretch Burnley in the wide areas as the team’s wing-backs.

Albert Riera looks unlikely to break into the team, whilst Almen Abdi’s foot injury, which has plagued him all term, means he will be limited to an appearance from the bench. A midfield pairing of Cristian Battocchio and second topscorer Lewis McGugan will play just ahead of Dániel Tőzsér, with 20-goal Troy Deeney set be partnered upfront by Mathias Ranégie, with Fernando Forestieri and on-loan Park Chu-Young set to miss out.
