Sean Dyche’s side welcome Arsenal to Turf Moor on Sunday, and will hope to have at least one new face in their ranks.

But while the Premier League transfer deadline is at 11pm this evening, any new signings will have to be registered long before that in order to play in Burnley’s next fixture.

For rules stipulate that all paperwork relating to a transfer must be submitted to and approved by the Premier League by 12.00 noon on the day prior to the date of such match.

There are no changes to this rule on deadline day, which means that Burnley have until midday to secure any new signings - otherwise they won’t be able to feature until the clash with Southampton on February 15.
