TEAM NEWS: Three full debuts for Burnley, and still no James Tarkowski

Sean Dyche has handed full debuts to goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell, centre back Bobby Thomas and midfielder Joish Benson for the Carabao Cup third round tie at Millwall.

However, centre back James Tarkowski is again absent, after Dyche had said yesterday: "We can't make massive changes, but we might have James Tarkowski back again, I'm going to confirm that with him today because obviously I've just walked in here and we're training this afternoon then travelling down to London."

West Ham have had two offers turned down to Tarkowski, the last £20m rising to £30m, and have turned their attentions to St Etienne's 19-year-old Wesley Fofana, offering an initial fee of £23m and up to £10m in add-ons.

Leicester City had been in talks with St Etienne over Fofana, and it remains to be seen whether they renew their interest in Tarkowski.

Dyche has made six changes to face his former club, with Peacock-Farrell, Thomas and Benson joined by Matt Lowton, Erik Pieters and Matej Vydra in the side, which is: Peacock-Farrell; Lowton, Thomas, Dunne, Taylor; Benson, Brownhill, McNeil, Pieters; Rodriguez, Vydra. Subs: Norris, Long, Glennon, Bardsley, Westwood, Wood, Goodridge.
