Burnley head into the international break off the back of a frustrating goalless draw against Preston North End

Scott Parker’s men sit third in the Championship table after nine games, one point adrift of league leaders Sunderland.

The Clarets now have the luxury of two weeks off to rest and recover before returning to action with a trip to Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, October 19.
