Burnley FC Commercial Director, Anthony Fairclough, SAID: “We are delighted to host such an event as the famous Soccer Six. Celebrity tournaments normally make their way to the likes of the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United, but for the first time we have successfully won the bid and been accepted to host the event.

“We are confident this will be a fantastic, high profile tournament and something that we can offer to our fans and the region, which is great kudos not just for Burnley but the whole of East Lancashire”

Soccer Six CEO Mark Abery added: “Burnley Football Club has great history and traditions and we are grateful to everyone at the club that we are able to create our own little piece of Burnley history by bringing the event here for the first time.
