Sean Dyche tops Sunderland wishlist


The Black Cats sit in the bottom three in the Premier League after a miserable start to the season which has seen them take just two points from seven games.
Advocaat decided to return home to Holland in the summer after keeping Sunderland up, but changed his mind.

Sunderland are looking to act quickly in the event of the vastly-experienced Advocaat, who, among other clubs and national sides, has been in charge of the Netherlands, PSV Eindhoven, Rangers, South Korea, Zenit St Petersburg, Belgium and Russia, steps aside.
Patrick Vieira has been linked with the post, but the Northern Echo reports that Dyche “would be the club’s preferred choice in the eventuality of Advocaat leaving.”
Dyche was a target in the close season, had Advocaat left then, but Sunderland still hope to persuade Advocaat to stay at the helm.
