Sean Dyche hopeful on Clarets quartet ahead of Aston Villa's visit to Turf Moor

Sean Dyche is hopeful over a number of injury worries ahead of Wednesday night's home clash with Aston Villa.

Charlie Taylor was forced off at Anfield last Thursday after "nicking" his hamstring an hour into his first game for just over three weeks, and missed Sunday's FA Cup win at Fulham.

Robbie Brady and Ashley Barnes, who were also not in the 20-man squad on duty at Craven Cottage, and unused substitute Josh Brownhill, all have unspecified knocks.

Johann Berg Gudmundsson came through the 90 minutes unscathed in West London though, and Dyche said: "Charlie Taylor is still touch and go.

"Robbie Brady had a knock, so we'll see how that is - they are the main two.

"Josh Brownhill has got a little knock, Johann is okay, which is good, he came through.

"We made a couple of changes at the end as well, to protect them, because we had a nice cushion of three goals, so hopefully everybody will be close to a full selection for the Villa game."
