Dyche was named by the panel after the Clarets picked up 10 points from four Championship fixtures during the month, which included 3-0 wins over Birmingham City and Charlton Athletic at Turf Moor plus a 2-1 triumph over Leeds United at Elland Road.

Meanwhile defender Shackell was named in a list that included QPR goalkeeper Robert Green, Reading midfielder Danny Guthrie and Ipswich Town striker David McGoldrick.

Shackell marshalled the Clarets defence to two clean sheets throughout a month which saw the club concede on two occasions.

The winners will be announced at 6 a.m. on Friday.
