REPORT: Burnley turn down initial £20m offer from West Ham for James Tarkowski

Burnley have reportedly turned down an initial offer of £20m plus “huge add ons” from West Ham for England international centre back James Tarkowski.

The Daily Telegraph suggest the Hammers are expected to return with an improved offer, with boss David Moyes determined to get his man.

Tarkowski joined Burnley for an initial £3m from Brentford in January 2016, and has gone on to earn two England caps under Gareth Southgate in 2018.

Sean Dyche would be loathe to lose one of his Crown Jewels, who would certainly demand a few in excess of the club record sale of Michael Keane to Everton for £25m in 2017.
