FORMER Clarets rolled back the years to beat Commercial Old Boys 3-1 in the third annual Bill Heywood Memorial Trophy.
Roger Eli gave the Clarets the lead at Colne FC’s XLCR Stadium before Junior Bent added a second before the interval.
One-time Reds midfielder Scott Gizon halved the deficit after the break but Liam Robinson rounded off the 3-1 victory just five minutes from time after converting from the penalty spot.
The fund-raising fixture, played in tribute of Colne FC’s former chairman, raised more than £1,000.
