JAY Rodriguez hit four goals last night as Burnley progressed to the next round of the Carling Cup.

Rodriguez put the Clarets 2-0 ahead after converting two penalties, but Burton hit back through Cleveland Taylor.

Charlie Austin seemingly put the game to bed with just seven minutes left on the clock, but Burton weren’t to be denied and scored two late goals through Calvin Zola and Jacques Maghoma to force extra-time.
