CHRIS Eagles’ inspired Burnley continued their run of good form at Turf Moor, with a comprehensive victory over Barnsley.

Eagles opened the scoring in the second half, curling home from the edge of the area after receiving the ball from Wade Elliott. He doubled the lead from the penalty spot, smashing home after his cross had hit Nathan Doyles arms.

Chris Iwelumo wrapped things up for the Clarets, delightfully slotting the ball past Barnsley keeper, after Jack Cork’s effort had bobbled around in the box.
