A remarkable game ended with the Storks drawing 5-5 with the Shrimps, as Padiham’s Nathan Egan scored four goals.

Padiham trailed 1-0 on seven minutes, but drew level through Egan on 13 minutes.

However, Morecambe hit back to lead 3-1 at the break.

Morecambe went further ahead on 70 minutes, before a remarkable Padiham fight back.

Egan scored three further goals in the space of 10 minutes, between the 72nd and 82nd minutes, to level the scores at 4-4.

Meanwhile, Padiham FC Under 18s suffered a disappointing 3-1 away defeat at Myerscough College in the Lancashire Football Association Floodlit League on Thursday night.

In torrential rain, the young Storks took a 25th minute lead through Bobby Carter.

The home side hit back to score twice themselves before half-time, and Myerscough secured the win with a third goal 10 minutes from time.
