One year on: Blackburn Rovers 1, Burnley FC 2
March 9th 2014 is a date that will live long in the memories of Clarets supporters.
It was the day Burnley FC travelled down the M65 to Ewood Park and clinched a long-awaited victory over arch rivals Blackburn Rovers as they powered towards promotion to the Premier League.
It was skipper Jason Shackell and leading scorer Danny Ings who struck to end 35 years of misery in the East Lancashire derby.
