It was the day Burnley FC travelled down the M65 to Ewood Park and clinched a long-awaited victory over arch rivals Blackburn Rovers as they powered towards promotion to the Premier League.

It was skipper Jason Shackell and leading scorer Danny Ings who struck to end 35 years of misery in the East Lancashire derby.
