New study shows that Burnley fans are the most passionate in the Premier League!

Burnley fans are the most passionate supporters in the Premier League, according to a new survey.

The survey, commissioned by Casino Winner, reveals which fans of teams in the top flight are the most passionate when it comes to showing their unrivaled support.

When asked if they prefer watching their favourite football team win more than being with their partner, almost half (49%) agreed with the statement to some extent, more than any other club supporters in the division.

It went on to show just how far Burnley fans really are prepared to go to support their club, with 51% saying they are likely to base their friendships on which football team they support.

Further results from the survey also suggest that Clarets fans spend the most on tickets and merchandise, spending £578 per year on average - despite Arsenal having the most expensive tickets in the Premier League.

Showing off just how much they love the sport; Burnley fans came in first place with Crystal Palace supporters when it came to spending the most time talking about football. On average they took 12.7 hours out of their week to discuss the highs and the lows of the match week.
