Burnley FC in the Community has also appointed former Burnley FC chairman Barry Kilby and local businessman and associate director Richard Sutton to the Board of Trustees.

Brian, the co-owner of Parklane Textiles Ltd, said: “I am thrilled to take on the role of Chairman of Burnley FC in the Community. It’s an exciting time to be part of the charity and to be involved with its many projects and programmes.

“I also welcome both Barry and Richard to the Board of Trustees; I know their commitment to our community will be a fantastic asset to the charities work.”
