Nathaniel Chalobah returns to Chelsea

On loan Chelsea midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah has today returned to his parent club after his four month loan at Turf Moor came to an end.

Chelsea return: Chalobah only featured four times for the Clarets

The England U21 midfielder made four substitute appearances for the Clarets after joining the club at the end of August.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche said: “Nathaniel will go back to Chelsea and we thank him for his efforts in his time with us.

“We hope he has developed here, albeit not on the pitch as much as he would have liked. He has, however, been an active part of the group and has been a credit to himself.

“We wish him well as he looks to further progress his career.”
