Micah Evans signs pro-contract with Burnley

The 20-year-old joins the Clarets after spending several months with the club following his release from Blackburn Rovers, where he progressed through the youth ranks.

While on Rovers’ books, Micah enjoyed a loan spell at Accrington Stanley, where he made 24 appearances in the 2011/12 season and scored his first senior goal in November 2011.

He later joined Chesterfield and Macclesfield Town on loan in the 2012/13 campaign.

Micah initially joined the Clarets on trial last summer and has featured several times for the Development Squad early in the campaign before finally earning pro-terms until the summer of 2014.
